Gangnam District

Gangnam is one of the 25 districts of Seoul and is located south of the Han River ( 강 gear, river ', 남 nam, south '). It is a very wealthy district and the most prosperous area in all of South Korea. Covering an area of 39.5 km ² live 527 641 inhabitants ( 2010 census ).

In the pop culture of the district was input by the song of the singer Psy Gangnam style in which he parodies including the conspicuous consumption of the citizens Gangnams.
