Gangwon FC

The Gangwon FC is a football franchise from Gangwon- do, South Korea. Currently playing the franchise in the K League Challenge, the second- highest division of South Korea.

History

The franchise was founded on 18 December 2008 and incorporated in 2009 as the 15th team in the K-League.

In 2010 she achieved her best result to date with a 12th place.

Since 2012 one can descend from the K- League, so it has been called since 2013 K League Classic. 2012 abolished the team as 14th in the league. In 2013 she reached the third to last place (12th at 14 teams) and increased after two relegation matches against Sangju Sangmu FC from the K League Challenge.
