GanttProject

GanttProject is a free application written in Java for project planning. The main functionalities include, Gantt chart, resource management, preparation of reports, and the import / export of MS Project, HTML and PDF. Also included are group functions via WebDAV and exchange data with spreadsheet programs.

The methods of network analysis can make only limited use so far. Although GanttProject also represents PERT charts, but can be, for example, buffer times, earliest and latest start and end times etc. are not yet calculated.

To run the tool Java Runtime Environment from Sun version 1.5 is required, so you can start even start the program via Java Web.

It is an open source Java API that can access the developer to the generated Gantt charts to read and write.
