GarageBand

GarageBand is a program from Apple for the production of music. It is part of the iLife application range. Like all iLife applications, it is not intended for professional use, but for home use.

The program allows the user to quickly and easily produce their own pieces. These three main different components are available: Apple a large collection of ready-made audio and MIDI loops already included. Using an audio interface real instruments can be recorded (eg electric guitar or bass) or singing. Partial preamplifiers are still required. Finally, MIDI data can be recorded using a MIDI keyboard, which are implemented by software instruments into sound. History
