Garay Department

The department Garay lies to the east of the province of Santa Fe in the center of Argentina and is one of 19 administrative units in the province. With 19,913 inhabitants, it is the least populated department of the province.

It is bordered to the north by the department of San Javier, in the east, separated by the Paraná River, in the province of Entre Ríos in the south and west by the department of La Capital and to the west by the San Justo.

The capital of the department Garay is Helvecia.
