History

Through this system, exits are easier and therefore also present in large numbers. The toll can be paid with normal coins and notes or the EZPass, which electronically settles the toll if the toll booth runs beneath it. Until 1 January 2009, the toll was additionally with special coins ( tokens) conceded that could be bought in different values and quantities. This system was abandoned without replacement.
