The station Massy -TGV is a stop for high-speed SNCF trains south of Paris, in close proximity to the RER station Massy - Palaiseau, on the border between the municipalities of Massy Palaiseau, some eight kilometers west ( as the crow flies ) from the airport Paris -Orly. Massy TGV is approached primarily of trains that drive around on links between different sectors of the province of the terminal stations of Paris, such as connections from Strasbourg to Bordeaux, Rennes and Nantes, but also by some TGVs from the Montparnasse train station from driving on the LGV Atlantique.

The station is used by approximately one million passengers per year. He has two drive-through tracks without platform and two outer platforms. All tracks are laid underground and pass under the one-storey concourse.

Due to the immediate vicinity of the landing being served by the RER lines B and C station Massy - Palaiseau the Massy TGV train station serves the whole catchment area of the RER lines, without the passengers have to change trains in Paris on the metro to Montparnasse train station.
