Gareth John Williams

Gareth John Williams ( born December 19, 1979 in Bridgend ) is a Welsh rugby union player. He plays as a hooker for the Cardiff Blues and has so far played seven times for the Welsh national team.

Williams came in 2003 to the newly founded Blues, previously he had for the Rugby division of the University of Wales called UWIC RFC, Pontypridd RFC and played the Sydney-based Gordon RFC. He collected already in the youth teams of the country experience and was, among other captain of the U18 selection. His first game for the men's national team, he played in the 2003 Six Nations against Italy. In the same year he played four times for Wales. It was only in 2009, he came to another national missions.
