Garfield MacDonald

Garfield MacDonald ( John Garfield MacDonald; born August 8, 1881 in Lower South River, Nova Scotia, † 1951) was a Canadian athlete.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 he won the silver medal in the triple jump with his personal best of 14.76 meters behind Tim Ahearne ( 14.915 m ) and before Edvard Larsen ( 14,395 m). In the high jump, he finished 13th place with 1.72 meters, the long jump, he left in qualifying, without its result has been handed down.
