Gargling

The gurgling ( gurgling = neck, from Latin: gurgulio = throat, throat, windpipe ) is a method of cleansing the throat, especially with sore throat. For gargling liquid is placed in the mouth and the head tilted back slightly, so that the liquid penetrates into the throat entrance. Then, air is exhaled, which causes the liquid to bubble.

Is gargled with water or with special gargles ( mouthwash ).
