Garrett Festerling

Garrett hard Erling ( born March 3, 1986 in Quesnel, British Columbia) is a Canadian- German ice hockey player who plays for the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga for the 2010/11 season. He is the twin brother of Brett hard Erling, who is currently at the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers under contract.

Career

Hard Erling began his career in 2000 at the Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Hockey League and moved in summer 2001 to the Portland Winter Hawks in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League. At the Winter Hawks of the center belonged to the tribe of cadres and was able to increase his points yield continuously. During the season 2004 /05, the Canadians joined the league rivals Regina Pats, which he left after three years to become involved in the Oklahoma City Blazers of the Central Hockey League.

2007 moved to feast Erling German Oberliga EV Füssen, where he eventually scorer with 133 points in 56 games achieved the final breakthrough. With this ratio, the attacker was top scorer of the season 2007/ 08 and honored by the Hockey journal Hockey News as Best Center and as league MVP in 2008. With the EV Füssen hard Erling was also able to advance to the play-off semi-finals for a third place in the main round.

Due to the benefits shown, the Canadians finally signed in the summer of 2008, a three-year contract with the Hannover Scorpions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

After winning the championship with the Hannover Scorpions became known that hard Erling plays in return for Paul Manning from the 2010/11 season for the Hamburg Freezers.
