The Office Gartz (Oder) is a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, in which initially contains 18 municipalities in the former county Angermuende had (now Uckermark, Brandenburg ) together to form a management group. Geographical location

The Office is located in the district Uckermark in the extreme northeast of Brandenburg. Its northern limit is also the border of the Land Mecklenburg- Vorpommern, and the eastern border with the Republic of Poland runs partly along the West Oder. It is bordered to the south by the official free city of Schwedt / Oder and to the Office Or catfish, and to the west by the Office Gramzow.

The Office Gartz (Oder) is surrounded by a terminal moraine and the east has a share of the National Park Lower Oder Valley.

The Office Gartz (Oder) currently manages five municipalities:

History

In a statement of 23 September 1992 with effect from 1 October 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg ordered the allocation of community Hohenfelde ( circle Angermuende ) and the city Vierraden ( circle Angermuende ) to the Official Gartz (Oder).

December 31, 2002 made ​​a number of municipal mergers: Friedrich Thal, Geesow and Hohenreinkendorf and the town Gartz (Oder) formed the new town Gartz (Oder); Blumberg, Casekow, Luckow -Peter Hagen, Wartin and Wolter village merged to form the new municipality Casekow; Schönfeld teamed up with Tantow the new community Tantow and Mescherin, Neurochlitz, Radekow Rosow and formed the new congregation Mescherin.

Demographics

Since the end of the 19th century, the population stagnated in the area of ​​today's Office Gartz. Amtsdirektor

First Amtsdirektor was Hartmut blessing. He was suspended in January 2001 by the service since it was investigating him for corruption. His trial began on 30 January 2002 and ended on 26 February 2002 with an acquittal. He was succeeded in 2002 and 2010 Brigitte Günzel Frank Gotzmann as the official director.
