Gary Ronald Honey ( born July 26, 1959 in Melbourne ) is a former Australian athlete, who specializes in the long jump.

Here Honey stood at 8.18 m nine inches from Evangelisti.

His last international medal fetched Honey at the Commonwealth Games in 1986 in Edinburgh, where he was able to successfully defend his title. He was at a height of 1.83 m, a competition weight of 70 kg and launched for the Ivanhoe Harriers Athletic Club.
