Gary Russell

Gary Russell ( born September 18, 1963 in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England ) is a British actor and freelance writer.

He was known throughout Europe at the end of the seventies through the role of Dick Kirrin from the television series Five friends. In England, he is now known mainly for his publications on the science fiction television series Doctor Who.

Life

The 1963 -born Gary Russell was a famous child actor in the seventies. 1976 to 1977 he played a starring role in The Phoenix and the Carpet, a BBC adaptation of a novel by Edith Nesbit.
