Gary Sundgren
Kari Juhani " Gary " Sundgren ( born October 25, 1967 in Vammala ) is a former Swedish football player.
Career
Sundgren played in youth in Västerås SK and IK Franke. In 1988 he moved to AIK Solna in the Allsvenskan. In his first season he came up 17 appearances in the Premier League and was also in the following seasons regulars. In 1992, he won the club the Swedish league titles, in 1996 and 1997 succeeded in winning the Cup.
Sundgren 1997 left Sweden to seek his fortune in Spain at Real Zaragoza. In 2001, he won the Copa del Rey his only title in five years in La Liga.
In the summer of 2002 he returned to AIK Solna and played one and a half years for the club in the Swedish premier league. He then made his career with the unterklassigen IFK Sollentuna and FC Djursholm finish.
Sundgren played between 1994 and 2002 31 times for the Swedish national team. His only competition was the European Championship in 2000, failed in Sweden in the preliminary round.
