Gas bubbler

Bubble counter is used in the (chemical) laboratory experimental work with gases in order to check the strength of the gas stream. Step out of the inlet tube bubbles of uniform size which can not be counted among a large gas stream at. The number of bubbles per unit time is a measure of the amount of gas flowing through the apparatus, or gas evolving at the reaction gas amount.

The sealing liquid in the bubble counter should be chosen so that it does not react with the gas. Often you may use white oil ( paraffin oil) as a sealing liquid.
