Gatow [ ga ː ː to ] is a district of Berlin, located in the south of the district of Spandau. Gatow is one of the least populated districts of Berlin with 4,055 inhabitants ( as of December 31, 2013). To the south it borders on Kladow, on the north by Wilhelm, to the east the Gatow from the adjacent towns of Potsdam ( district Groß Glienicke ) and Dallgow, district Seeburg runs the Havel and in the west the city limits of Berlin, separates. History

Probably shortly after 1200, German settlers founded the village street Gatow. Archeology has so far been found not Slavic Vorbesiedlung. Villa Lemm

Badewiese: Gatow has three beautifully situated Havel bathing meadows.
