Gaular

Gaular is a commune in the Norwegian province of Sogn og Fjordane.

To the north it borders Askvoll and Forde, on the east by Balestrand, to the south and to the west by Høyanger Fjaler. The center of the municipality is sand. Gaularvassdraget draws as Wasserzug from Gaularfjellet / Jostedalsbreen by the municipality and runs through the waterfall Osfossen in the Dalsfjord.

Traffic

The national route E 39 passes through the center of sands south to Bergen, the distance is about 150 km (plus ferry from Lavik after Oppedal ). The Forde Lufthamn airport, Bring Land is located in the municipality.
