Gauliga Nordmark

The Gauliga (later: Range League ) Nordmark was from 1933/34, one of the 16 seasons of the far -reaching newly established football Gauliga. It was operated until 1941/42, the DFB and the host department football DRL and covered the area of the former NFV districts Groß- Hamburg, Schleswig -Holstein, Lübeck, Mecklenburg and 1933/34, and again from 1937 clubs from Harburg and William Castle. In the 1939/40 season the league was played after a break, and divided because of the outbreak of war in two seasons (seasons A and B) and the Master between the Season winners Hamburger SV and Eimsbütteler TV. Record title holder is the Eimsbütteler TV with five championships before HSV with four. Other clubs were never able to occupy the first place. 1942, the field of sports Nordmark was disbanded and assigned to the clubs of the area league the new, smaller Gauligen Hamburg, Mecklenburg and Schleswig -Holstein.

Master

The master of Gauliga Nordmark was entitled to participate in the finals of the German Championship.
