Gavan O'Herlihy
Gavan O'Herlihy ( born April 29, 1954 in Dublin) is an Irish actor.
Life
Gavan O'Herlihy is the son of actor Dan O'Herlihy and nephew of film director and producer Michael O'Herlihy. During his youth he worked as a tennis player and was even Irish national champion. He later studied at both the Abbey Theatre and Trinity College at the spectacle. From the early 1970s he was increasingly seen in television productions. Later he made it as an actor for the movie, with its type casting was often as a villain, including but not in Superman III - The steel flash, Death Wish III - The avenger of New York and Willow. Even Star Trek fans, he is known. In the television series Star Trek: Voyager, he starred in the pilot episode Caretaker the Kazon Jabin.
