Gavarnie

Gavarnie is a commune in the Hautes -Pyrénées, in the Midi -Pyrenees. It counts 139 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). In the near Gavarnie, Cirque de Gavarnie is with the Gavarnie Falls, the highest waterfalls in France.

The parish church of Gavarnie is awarded since 1998 as part of the World Heritage Site by UNESCO " Camino de Santiago in France."
