The GAZ- 2975 Tigr (Russian ГАЗ - 2975 Тигр ) is a modern two-axle multi-purpose SUV (4 × 4) of the Russian automobile manufacturer Gorkowski Awtomobilny Zavod. There also exists a civilian variant. Even as a police vehicle is the GAZ Tigr use.

Description

In 2001, the first images of the GAZ Tigr were published. Initially, this model was planned as a pure military vehicle. The civilian version was designated GAZ- 2330 (Russian ГАЗ 2330 ). Production was started in 2005; it is planned to produce 1000 cars per year. The cost of a Tigr amount to about $ 60,000.

Both the GAZ- 2975 and GAZ- 2330 are considered very robust off-road vehicle that can operate smoothly in the temperature range from -14 ° C to 50 ° C. Also, 1.2 m deep water can be traversed without preparations.

Trivia

In December 2012, the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin Olegovich said he wanted to go in the future with a converted Tigr to work, to promote the Russian production.
