Gaza Province

The Gaza province is located southeast of Mozambique.

Geography

Gaza has an area of ​​75,709 km ². To the north lies the province of Manica, Inhambane province the east and south of the province of Maputo. To the southeast lies the Mozambique Channel. In the West, Gaza borders the neighboring South Africa and in the northwest, Zimbabwe. The capital of the province of Gaza is Xai-Xai with 116 343 inhabitants ( 2007). Other places are Chokwe, Massingir and Chicualacuala.

Through the province of Limpopo flow and its tributary Changane and Shingwedzi. The border river to Manica forms of the Sava.
