Gazebo (musician)

Gazebo ( born February 18, 1960 in Beirut; civil Paul Mazzolini ) is an Italian musician. His music is attributed to the genre of Italo Disco.

He is the son of an Italian diplomat. His mother Stephanie was a singer before her marriage in the United States.

In 1974 he founded in Los Angeles, the school band Skunk Tussle and gained his first experience in a theater group. In 1983 he completed his studies in French literature successfully in Rome and began to work with Paul Micioni after the first cooperation, Masterpiece, was surprisingly successful. In October 1983, he landed with the song I Like Chopin No. 1 on the German charts. Also in 1983 he wrote the lyrics for the hit song " Dolce Vita " for Ryan Paris. With the single Telephone Mama 1984 he had his last Top 10 listing in Italy. Other CDs and singles followed ( Milky Way, Trotsky Burger ). In autumn 2006, his single Tears For Galileo reached # 1 on the Euro - dance charts.
