GazimaÄŸusa District

The district Gazimağusa, Turkish Gazimağusa Ilcesi, also district Mağusa, Turkish Mağusa Ilcesi, is one of five districts of the internationally unrecognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean island of Cyprus. Its capital and most important port city in the northern part of the island is Gazimağusa (Famagusta ).

In 2006, the district had 64 429 inhabitants.
