GD Chaves

Grupo Desportivo Chaves is a football club from the Portuguese city of Chaves in the north of the country.

The club has been playing the 1999/2000 season in the 2nd Portuguese league, the Liga de Honra (Honorary League ), but was mediocre after the 2006/07 season. In the first league Chaves played from 1995 to 1999. In 2009 they managed the renewed rise in the second Portuguese football league ( Liga de Honra ), followed by the direct relegation to the third- highest division.
