GDRT

Gadarat (also Gadurat, unvokalisiertes Ge'ez gdr, altsüdarabisch gdrt ) was a king ( Negus ) of Aksum, who ruled in the early 3rd century AD.

From Gadarat Its oldest Aksumite king inscription, in which he described as " gdr, Negus of Aksum " is called. An existing in multiple copies inscription of Weihe Arhab in Yemen today testified also that Gadarat allied itself with ' Alhan Nahfan and his son Sha'ir Awtar of Sheba; However, this alliance was dissolved later by Sha'ir Awtar again. Although he sent in his reign a diplomatic mission to Gadarat whose outcome is unknown. But there was a war against Gadarats son and probably commander Bygt (probably Beygat ) and the Aksumiter seem to be deducted from southern Arabia.
