Gé van Dijk
Gerard January ( Gé ) van Dijk ( born August 15, 1923 in Amsterdam, † May 29, 2005 ) was a Dutch football player.
Van Dijk was between September 1943 and 1957 to the first squad of Ajax Amsterdam. With the club he was twice (1947 and 1957 ) Dutch champion. Overall, Van Dijk played 317 games for Ajax, scoring 89 goals. In the season 1950/51 he was top scorer of the club.
Shortly after the war, Van Dijk was appointed on 21 September 1947 in a friendly against Switzerland for the first time in the squad of the Dutch national football team. The Netherlands won the match 6-2. His second and last match he played on March 14, 1948 against Belgium.
