Geeta Phogat
Geeta Kumari (born 15 December 1988) is an Indian wrestler. She won at the 2012 World Championships bronze medal in the weight category up to 55 kg body weight
Career
Geeta Kumari ( Phogat ) grew up in Bhiwani on in the Indian state of Haryana. She started there as a teenager along with her younger sister by one year Babita Kumari in a Ringer club with the rings. My first coach was her father Mahabir Singh. The only 1.53 meter tall athlete wrestles in the weight class up to 55 kg, so a weight class higher than her sister. She is a student. In the winners' lists they usually only appears under the name " Geeta ".

In December 2012, she won the Asia Cup in Gumi / South Korea behind Kanako Murata, Japan and Tran Thi Dien Ninh Vietnam from a bronze medal.
