Gelephu ( Dzongkha: དགེ་ལེགས་ཕུ་ ), also Gelaphu and Geylegphug is, with 9199 inhabitants ( Z 2005) is the third largest city in the Himalayan state of Bhutan, located in the district Sarpang in the south of the country on the Indian border. The district capital Sarpang is located 30 km west.
