Gelnhausen Codex

The Codex Gelnhausen is a beginning of the 15th century written down from Jihlava town clerk John of Gelnhausen law collection. The most magnificent and valuable Codex, which summarizes the particular legal principles of " Oberhofes in mountain stuff " in Jihlava is kept today in the municipal archives of Jihlava ( Jihlava ). He is regarded as an important source of Czech history of the late Middle Ages.
