Genarp

Genarp is a place ( tätort ) in the southern Swedish province of Skåne County and the historical province Scania.

The southernmost area since the 1974 reform hamlet of Lund is located in the immediate vicinity of three locks. The largest, Häckeberga slott, now a hotel and restaurant, located on an island in the middle of Häckebergasjön ( Häckeberga Lake). Famous guest of the castle was Carl Linnaeus, who noted the palace gardens as well as the associated maze in his Scanian travel.

Just south of the town bordering the natural reserve Risen.
