Genazzano
Genazzano is a municipality in the province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 5969 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 58 km east of Rome.
Geography
Genazzano lies on the southern slope of the Prenestini east of Palestrina.
It is a member of the Comunità Montana dei Castelli Romani e Prenestini.

Policy
Fabio Ascenzi (PD ) was elected in June 2009 for the mayor. His center-left alliance also with 11 of 16 seats, the majority in the City Council. He replaced his party colleague Francesco Pitocco, who did not run.
