Gene Samuel

Eugene "Gene " Samuel ( born October 14, 1961) is a racing cyclist from Trinidad and Tobago.

1987 ranked genes Samuel at the Pan American Games in Indianapolis second place in the 1000 - m time trial, four years later in Havana, he won the discipline and four years later he was again in Mar del Plata third parties. In 1991 he occupied at the Track World Championships in Stuttgart, ranked third on the mileage of the amateurs.

Four times took Samuel 1984-1996 at the Olympics in part. At the 1984 Olympics in Seoul, he finished fourth in the time trial.

Today, Samuel, called operates " Bike Doctor ", a bike shop in Port of Spain and supervises a separate team. His son Samuel Gevan is successful racing driver who occasionally drives race against his own father.
