General Conference (LDS Church)

When General Conference The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints called their semi-annually on the first weekend takes place in April and the first weekend in October conference for all members worldwide.

Especially for the holding of these conferences, the tabernacle was built on Temple Square in Salt Lake City for about 6,000 visitors and completed in 1867. Due to the increased number of members, the church built a new conference center with 21,000 seats ( completed in 2002 ).

The General Authorities of the Church (the President of the Church, his counselors, the apostles and seventies ) as well as the leaders and leaders of organizations hold meetings in five speeches to inform the members to instruct and motivate.
