General der Flakartillerie
General of the flak was a military rank, and a rank of the Wehrmacht. It corresponded to the rank of general and was provided within the Air Force of the Armed Forces in the rule for the Commanding General of Flakkorps. The introduction of the rank was carried out with the mobilization in 1939 by the Supreme Commander of the Air Force. First Person service in that capacity was the later Colonel General Günther Rüdel.
