General der Flieger

The General der Flieger was a military rank in the armed forces ( air force ). In the German states, Prussia, Bavaria, Württemberg and Saxony, also in Austria - Hungary, Great Britain, Russia, Spain and Japan were traditionally four ranks of generals ( in ascending order ): Major General → Lieutenant General → General of Cavalry → ( General of the Waffen genus ) → and Colonel General. In addition, usually only awarded in wartime, the Field Marshal, who was called in some countries only Field Marshal or Marshal. The General of the type of weapon; General der Flieger, ( Cavalry, Infantry or Artillery ) was usually the command of an army corps (XXX ) ( Commanding General ), or a high office entrusted.
