General Dutch Fascist League

Algemene Nederlandse Fascistenbond ( ANFB ) (General Dutch Fascist League ) was 1932-1934 a political party in the Netherlands. It positioned itself clearly against anti-Semitism and Nazism the time, but not convicted, the National Socialist German Workers' Party, but was based in large part on its policy.

The ANFB arose from the movement De Bezem ( the broom ). Their leader was Jan Baars, a merchant from Amsterdam. The weekly published party newspaper called De Facist.

In the elections of 1933, the ANFB received only 17,157 votes, representing 0.46 percent of the vote and was not sufficient to feed in the Dutch Parliament. However, they had the first Dutch fascist party in the two years of its existence, a not insignificant appendix. In March 1934, the founder Baars left the party, which subsequently splintered in the composite Fascistisch Verbond de Vuurslag under the direction of Groeninx van Zoelen and Zwart Front ( black front ) under the direction of Arnold Meijer.
