GeneRally

Gene Rally is a freeware racing game that was programmed by a native of Finland Hannu and Jukka brothers Räbinä. The latest version of Gene Rally was published on 18 February 2011 (Version 1.10).

Game Description

In Generally, the player can either go against time, up to five computer opponents or against up to 5 players. The strength of the computer opponents is freely selectable.

In the options, the race length, the scoring ( for the places 1 to 6), the fuel weight, tire wear, fuel consumption and the damage suffered by collisions be chosen arbitrarily. By default, there are 12 cars in the game.

Due to the many opportunities to contribute their own content such as cars, own routes and sounds in the game, there is a large community. In recent years, these hundreds of high-quality tracks and cars for the game has produced.

Despite the lack of online support in relation to the multiplayer mode, there are a lot of competitions, which are held over the Internet.

Although Generally on Windows 7 running there are still some, albeit minor, problems. As the authors Hannu and Jukka Räbinä have no more interest in the development of the game, the game's development in the community will be tempted to continue.
