Gengma Dai and Va Autonomous County

The Autonomous District Gengma Dai and Va (耿马 傣族 佤族 自治县, Gěngmǎ Dǎizú Wǎzú Zizhixian in short,耿马 县Gěngmǎ Xiàn ) is an autonomous county of the Dai and Va of the prefecture-level city of Lincang (临沧) in the west of China's Yunnan province. In 1999, he counted 245 251 inhabitants.

The Shifodong Cave site ( Shifodong Yizhi ) is since 1996 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 4-18 ).

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, the autonomous district is composed of four large municipalities and five municipalities ( a community of Lahu Nationality and Blang ) together. These are:

• Greater community Mengsa (勐 撒 镇)
• Greater community Mengding (孟 定 镇)

• Community Daxing (大兴 乡)
• Community Manghong ( Lahu and Blang ) (芒 洪 拉祜族 布朗族 乡)
• Community Sipaishan (四 排 山乡)
