Genil

The Río Genil with 358 km length of the main left tributary of the Guadalquivir. It rises to 1,480 m above sea level in the province of Granada by the confluence of the Río Real, and the river Guarnón and drains an area of 8278 km ². The Genil flows through the cities of Granada, Loja, Puente Genil and Ecija. It ends in Palma del Río in the Guadalquivir.
