Géo André

Géo André (actually Yvan Georges André, born August 13, 1889 in Paris, † May 4, 1943 in Tangier ) was a French athlete who participated four times in the Olympic Games, and rugby union player.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he shared in the high jump with 1.88m skipped the silver medal with Con Leahy and István Somodi, behind Harry Porter ( 1,905 m). In the state high jump, he finished fifth.

1912 in Stockholm, he left in the first round in the high jump, high jump stand and standing long jump. In the 110- meter hurdles, he reached the semi-finals, in the pentathlon, he finished 22nd place, and in the decathlon he yielded seven disciplines.

1913 and 1914, he played seven times for the French rugby union team.
