Geoff Parsons (athlete)

Geoff Parsons (actually Peter Geoffrey Parsons, born August 14, 1964 in Margate, Kent) is a former British high jumper.

At the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, he was eliminated in the qualifying.

In 1986, he won the bronze medal at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Madrid. In the summer he won, starting for Scotland, silver at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh and was ninth at the European Athletics Championships in Stuttgart.

At the World Athletics Championships 1987 in Rome, he finished tenth in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul on the 16th Place.

In 1990, he won the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland and failed at the European Championships in Split in qualifying. Another bronze medal followed at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria.
