Geoff Thompson (football)

Geoff Thompson OBE ( born August 23, 1945 in Sheffield, England ) is an English lawyer and international football official.

From 1999 to 2008 he was chairman of the English Football Association ( The Football Association ). Since 2000 he is a member of the UEFA Executive Committee .. In 2007 he was elected as a short term replacement candidate instead of the Scotsman John McBeth Vice President of the FIFA Executive Committee.
