Geoff Tunnicliffe

Geoff Tunnicliffe since 2005, the International Director of the World Evangelical Alliance ( WEA), a global evangelical network, representing about 600 million Christians by its own account.

Life

Tunnicliffe has been married to his wife Jewel and father of two adult children. He lives in Vancouver and New York City. His activities led Tunnicliffe in more than 100 countries. He was the managing director of an international operating agency and consultant for organizational issues. From 1999 to 2002 he was the advisor to a multinational team of employees at Refugee Highway Partnership, a refugee relief project (WEA ) and around 350 partner organizations. Tunnicliffe is a board member of the international Micha initiative of the WEA, which is committed to combating extreme poverty, global justice and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations. When speakers of different conferences, universities and churches he deals primarily with global problems such as HIV / AIDS, poverty, human trafficking, the interdenominational dialogue and spirituality. He met several times with government and media representatives to take a stand on current events from evangelical perspective.
