Geoffrey Burbidge
Geoffrey Ronald Burbidge (* September 24 1925 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, † January 26, 2010 in San Diego, California ) was a British-American astrophysicist. He was the husband of Margaret Burbidge.
In 1957, he co-authored with Margaret Burbidge, William Alfred Fowler and Fred Hoyle the B2FH - theory on the origin of the light elements by nuclear fusion in stars ( nucleosynthesis ).
