Georg Brunnhuber

Georg Brunnhuber ( born February 18, 1948 in Oberkochen ) is a former German politician of the CDU. He was from 1990 to 2009 Member of the German Bundestag. Since 2011 he is chief lobbyist for the Deutsche Bahn AG, where he was previously around four years a member of the Supervisory Board.

Life and career

Brunnhuber left the Peutinger High School in Ellwangen on the Jagst in an intermediate certificate, and then did an apprenticeship as a carpenter, which he finished with the journeyman's certificate. He then attended the College of Engineering in Stuttgart, where he graduated in 1972 as Diplom-Ingenieur ( FH) for Architecture and Building Construction with a focus on urban planning. Member of Parliament

From 1990 to 2009 Brunnhuber was the successor of Manfred Abelein Member of the German Bundestag.
