Georg Bydlinski

Georg Bydlinski (born 30 May 1956 in Graz ) is an Austrian writer.

Life

Georg Bydlinski grew up as the son of legal scholar Franz Bydlinski on in Styria, the Rhineland and around Vienna. His younger brother is the comedian Mini Bydlinski. The two university professors of civil law, Peter ( Professor at the University of Graz ) and Michael ( professor at the University of Linz and judges at the Supreme Court ) are also brothers of him. He studied English and Religious Education at the University of Vienna and graduated in 1981 with a Master 's degree. Since 1982 he works as a freelance writer in Mödling. In 1990 he took part in Klagenfurt at the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition.

Georg Bydlinski is the author of novels and children's books and poems. In addition, he has worked as an editor of anthologies and as a translator.

Georg Bydlinski is a member of the IG authors authors Authors in Graz Assembly, the Austrian Writers' Association, the literature circle podium and the Friedrich- Bödecker circle Hanover.

Musically, he has been working since 2013 with producer Thomas Raber.
