Georg Dascher played at the Police Sports Club Darmstadt and was with this 1934 German champions in field handball. He played six matches during his sporting career. As a member of the German national handball team, he was at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin Olympic champion.
During the Second World War he served as a lieutenant in the army and fell in 1944 on the Western Front. He is buried in the military cemetery in Lommel.
