Georg Fischer

Georg Fischer ( born November 10, 1960) is a former German biathlete and cross-country skiers.

Georg Fischer competed for the SC Ruhpolding. He took in 1987 at the Biathlon World Championships in Lake Placid, where he was part of the 17 Sprint race. The following year he competed at the Olympic Winter Games in Calgary in 1988 in the cross-country skiers. About 50 miles he came on the 34th, with Walter kiss, Jochen Behle and Herbert Fritz Wenger he was also seventh in the relay. In 1989 he participated in Feistritz an der Drau again at the Biathlon World Championships and won with Franz Wudy, Fritz Wenger and Fritz Fischer behind the Soviet Union, and the representation of the GDR the inaugural race team the silver medal. In the sprint, he was 39th National Fischer won in 1985, 1986 and 1990, the season title with the Bavarian Representation.
